Master Study- Claude Monet: Layered Lilies

Event Description Claude Monet was a famous French painter from 1840-1926. He was a part of the impressionist movement known for his bright paintings. One of his most famous works is the painting of water lilies.

Students can make a paper craft using tissue paper based on Monet's water lilies. They can experiment with different colors to create a pond with lily pads and green shades to show reflection from surrounding trees.

Cost: $10 per student
Materials: Paper, pencil, tissue paper, glue, water, paintbrush, and scissors.
